REVISÃO PARA O SIMULADO DE INGLÊS 7º ANO




HOW MUCH X HOW MANY

Podemos usar “how much” quando estamos falando sobre “uncountable nouns” (coisas incontáveis) como “water, money, milk, dirt, etc…”.Por exemplo: How much (money) does that cost?

Mas quando estamos falando sobre “countable nouns” (coisas que pode contar) precisamos usar o “how many”.

Por exemplo: How many marbles are in that jar?

SIMPLE PRESENT - PRESENTE SIMPLES (PRESENTE DO INDICATIVO)
Conceito

Os verbos no simple present são empregados para indicar uma ação habitual, que ocorre no momento em que é enunciada. Normalmente aparece após expressões de tempo como when, as soon as, before e after. Alguns advérbios de freqüência também funcionam como indicadores do simple present, tais como always, generally, seldom e often.

Afirmativa: Sujeito + Infinitivo (sem to). Para he, she, it ocorre acréscimo de –s.

I drink (Eu bebo)

He drinks. (Ele bebe)


Negativa: Sujeito + Do/Does + Not + Verbo principal no infinitivo (sem to). Para he, she, it usa-se does; para as demais usa-se do.


I do not drink = I don’t drink. (Eu não bebo)

He does not drink = He doesn’t drink. (Ele não bebe)


Interrogativa:
Do/Does + Sujeito + Verbo no infinitivo (sem to)

Do I drink? (Eu bebo?)

Does he drink? (Ele bebe?)

Exemplos:

Brazil often wins the world cup. (O Brasil freqüentemente vence a copa do mundo)

I always see my girlfriend. (Eu sempre vejo minha namorada)

The stars always shine in the dark sky. (As estrelas sempre brilham no céu escuro)

DICA QUENTE: Um ponto que sempre via problemas era o uso do “S” na terceira pessoa do singular (he, she e it) no Simple Present. Uma certa vez, eu estava num curso e uma colega professora dividiu conosco um segredinho, que agora divido com vocês.

Sempre quando vocês forem escrever e não souberem se é “S” ou “ES”, lembre do seguinte macete: O – S – SH – CH – X ? ES! Não adiantou muita coisa? Bom, vamos formar uma frase com essas letras.

(c) em linguagem informal, quando as respostas são compostas por
uma só palavra

NOTE: em linguagem formal,
a resposta deverá ser He did.

(d) após preposições.
Ex:

(e) em linguagem informal, após o verbo be, than e as.
